Things have progressed on the exhibition at Bank Street Arts and it looks like it is going to go ahead from the 9th – 19th July 2014 (and possibly longer until the end of July). We have a name for the exhibition [(6)] and a website – click on photo below to visit.
We also have a draft flyer which we will use to advertise the event, see below:
Dewald Botha did a great job in designing both the Website and the flyer!!
I have been researching options for mounting and installing my prints. I have eight A1 prints and one 30×40 inch print, as per my previous post, see here. I have decided to go with mounting the prints on dibond and getting an aluminium subframe attached. This will make installation easy but will cost quite a bit more. In the end I felt that if I did it this way I would be able to reuse the prints, should the opportunity arise. I will also be much lower risk as I was very nervous about how difficult it was going to be to construct large battens on the gallery wall onto which I could velcro my prints. I am using Printspace for the printing and mounting. Transporting the prints is also going to be interesting!!

The website and flyer look very good indeed. I do so hope I’ll be able to come to the PV – will have to wait and see how everything pans out.
