My artists talk at LSE seemed to go well yesterday. It was quite small gathering about 25 people. They had estimated around this number. All seemed to enjoy the event and I was able to sell ten catalogues left over from my Spitalfields exhibition. There was talk afterwards of further collaboration later in the year – this year is the centenary of Charles Booth’s death and the LSE Library maintains a good part of the Booth Archive.
Got some decent feedback via Twitter too:
I visited the foyer in the Library where my video show was displayed. I was most impressed. It was located in a very busy area where people could sit and watch and the footfall was huge….should have got some decent exposure with this display which is continuing until today (Friday).

All in all a very worthwhile experience!

I was wondering how it went. 25 is a pretty large group compared with OCA talks etc! I think it’s wonderful how these opportunities keep arising – a tribute to your dedication and networking, not to mention talent.

Thanks Catherine. Think the Charles Booth theme has legs. Centenary of his death this year.
