Real Venice

I am a little annoyed….I missed the Real Venice Exhibition at Somerset House. The exhibition showed the work of some of my favourite photographers including Nan Goldin, Candida Hofer, and Philip-Lorca DiCorcia. I have had a good look at the catalogue and perhaps not surprisingly I was most impressed by the work of  Hiroshi Watanabe who presented a portrait series. It seems it is not  only me who has formed this judgement as Watanabe’s work is the only section of the catalogue to have fully sold out…
